Cool - I'm so happy your working and still making art you believe in. For me in the wide view its about keeping it simple. Close ups and details are very different from a panorama. It is a choice you make as an artist what the focus of the composition is going to be, but like cape light it was so simple and the light you experienced from experience of the place was captured. The Grand Canyon is so overwelming that it is hard to tune it all in and hard to capture, not mention the heat.......
I am a full-time artist, having left a career as a nutritionist in 2002 to follow this dream. Very grateful to be able to make a living doing what I love.
