Buffalo Nickel
Here's another work in progress. I decided to paint a couple round canvases with both sides of the buffalo nickel on them for the Custer show at the end of the month. Lots of fun!
I am a full-time artist, having left a career as a nutritionist in 2002 to follow this dream. Very grateful to be able to make a living doing what I love.

What a cool idea!! What's the diameter of the canvases? Looks just like a nickel to me - I wouldn't have guessed it was a painting.
Hi Jean!
Its a 12" canvas... I'm trying to decide whether to add more color or keep it somewhat realistic...
